The New Cyungo Health Post
'The Cyungo Health Post is something we have been longing for, for a long time and now we have got it' said Anastase our representative in the Rulindo District.
The Rwiri Cell women group’s were singing and dancing as the Health Post was inaugurated on July 22nd 2022. It was a joyful day for the Cyungo community to have a Health Post near them as they have been walking long distances to reach other centres for treatment.
Uwamahoro Ansilla, the head nurse of Merembo Health Centre will supervise the Cyungo Health Post which has already started working.
The Marembo Health Centre has provided some startup equipment and will provide more as needed.
The deputy mayor of Rulindo District in charge of social affaires is Mr. Mutaganda Theophile and is the one who officially launched the Health Post. He thanked very much the Goboka Trust and PHARP for the gift of a Health Post to the Cyungo Community.
Ms. Jeannette Mukeshimana , the leader of Cyungo Sector said she hopes she will see Heather before she is moved to another place.
