It was once again a 'full house' at our annual Cheese, Wine & Quiz evening, held in Bakewell Town Hall on 13th June.

Quizmasters John and Sue Kelsey delighted quizzers with their unique questions which John compiles himself and cause the grey matter to work overtime, but also great merriment during the evening. Again, our most grateful thanks to these two supporters who offer their services each year.

​

At the half-time interlude a delicious supper was served of cheeses, pâtés, breads, biscuits, pickles, celery etc, as well as a variety of wines, beers and soft drinks being available at the bar, in addition to the complimentary drink which is included in the ticket price. To aid the second half, sweet/chocolate biscuits were placed on each table - always very much enjoyed!

There was also our usual raffle and a stall selling Rwanda goods.

​

A big thanks as always to those who support this event, many of whom are now 'regulars', but each year the word seems to have spread and new people come along to join us.

​

The evening raised a total of £950 for our funds, and our thanks go to all our helpers who worked beforehand and on the night to make the evening a success, as well as those who supported it. We hope to see you all again next year!
