THE GOBOKA RWANDA TRUST

Working together to support the people of Rwanda

ABOUT US

A bit
about us..

The Goboka Rwanda Trust is a small UK registered charity that supports and delivers projects to help the Rwandan people, their families and communities. By embracing the enterprising spirit of these communities, the charity is able to help drive forward enterprise initiatives, grow new businesses and enhance the sustainable prospects for the Rwandan people.

Working in partnership

Working in partnership with key organisations and individuals in Rwanda and the UK, the Trust’s primary objective is to provide funding support for the development of grass-roots projects. By combining a deep understanding of local need, with the strength of well-chosen partners, the Trust is able to deliver support where it is needed most.

Run by
volunteers

Run entirely by volunteers, the Trust encourages people to get involved with its work – and through many roles and opportunities from which to gain enriching experiences, we can all help the Rwandan people towards a future of promise.

ABOUT

WANT TO KNOW MORE?

The Trust's Chief Officer, Heather Thomas, now gives illustrated talks and presentations on the interactive platform ZOOM. Hear all about her experiences in Rwanda and the work of the Trust - painting a picture of life in Rwanda today, and describe its recent past.

This excellent, thought provoking and informative talk is suitable for all ages and can be tailored to individual groups. Lasting usually between 20 minutes and 1 hour, Heather is happy to discuss the details or specific requirements in advance of booking.

Talks can be delivered in a range of venues, and Heather is happy to travel to venues within a 30-mile radius of Bakewell, Derbyshire. However, please do get in touch if you are farther away and we can discuss how we can work with you to promote the Trust.

Heather makes no charge but any donations go to The Goboka Rwanda Trust. If you are interested in hearing one of these fascinating and moving talks, please contact us
