Cyanika Community Project

Since Christmas we have been able to send a further sum of money to our account in Rwanda, some of which is to be spent on the purchase of sheep for the Cyanika community, who live in a very poor region right on the Congonese border in the north west of the country. This was a project which was to be supported by another UK charity who had failed to raise the necessary funding, so we were asked to step in so that the people would not be disappointed.

Anastase finds these livestock projects very satisfying and delights in presenting pigs, sheep and goats on behalf of Goboka, and it is always a pleasure for me/us to visit and meet both people and animals at projects such as this when we are in Rwanda.
